Visit

Best: Calm, clear days in summer. Do not attempt in wind or fog. Access: Landowners charge a small hiking fee. Book ahead. Getting there: Car ferry from Klaksvík to Syðradalur, then drive to Trøllanes. Allow 2 hours for the walk.
